Faith in Action: One Million Bibles to Be Distributed Nationwide in Honour of Seyi Tinubu

A one-million-Bible initiative launched in honour of Seyi Tinubu aims to inspire moral renewal and ethical leadership among young Nigerians.

In a rare gesture blending faith, youth inspiration, and national renewal, one million copies of the Holy Bible are set to be distributed across Nigeria in honour of Barrister Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The initiative was announced during a thanksgiving service at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, on Sunday, drawing church leaders and youth representatives from across the country.

The ambitious project, coordinated by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) under the leadership of its National Chairman, Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, is designed to promote moral rebirth, integrity, and compassion among Nigerian youths.

Speaking at the event, Enwere explained that the distribution of one million Bibles was not merely a symbolic gesture but a faith-driven effort to rekindle ethical consciousness among the next generation.

The thanksgiving service, which held simultaneously in about forty churches across the country, featured prayers for national peace and moral revival. The Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, Rev. Ini Ukpuho, led the Abuja session, offering special prayers for the Tinubu family and for unity in Nigeria.

Clerics from different denominations praised the initiative as a timely intervention at a period when the country faces deep moral and social challenges. They described the Bible distribution project as both a spiritual and civic investment in Nigeria’s future.

In a message delivered on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed deep appreciation to the organisers and reaffirmed his belief that faith-based values remain crucial for building a responsible and compassionate society.

The first batch of Bibles, which will be shared through churches, schools, and youth ministries, was presented during the event, marking the beginning of what organisers call a “movement of moral awakening.”

Beyond the honour of celebration, the one-million-Bible initiative speaks to a broader vision — one that places faith, service, and leadership at the heart of national transformation. As the project rolls out, it signals a quiet but powerful reminder that true legacy is built not in wealth or position, but in the values we pass on to the next generation.
